“The Basswood Homeowners Association (BHOA) is formally announcing its opposition to the proposed Motor Club / Car-Condominium Storage Facility and residential development planned for the grounds of the former Majestic Mountain Ski Resort on Geneva Lake. While our members acknowledge the general appeal of a private automotive club and car condominiums, it is clear that placing such a commercial development directly beside established neighborhoods and delicate shoreline habitat is inappropriate and incompatible with the surrounding area.”

The old ski hill and the lake work together—absorbing rainfall,

filtering water, and preventing flooding. When land like this is

paved or built up, that natural balance disappears.

Protect the land that protects our lake.
